Care:
- Air it out regularly: Often, simply turning the garment inside out and airing it by an open window is enough – sequins don’t absorb odors as much as natural fibers.
- If washing is necessary, choose hand washing only in cold water (maximum 30°C).
- Use a very small amount of gentle detergent. Never rub fabric against fabric – sequins can catch on each other or get scratched.
- Sunday Tip: Instead of traditional washing, you can use a gentle steamer to refresh the fabric from the inside (holding it a few centimeters away from the material).
Drying and storage:
- Never wring out! Lay the garment on a thick, dry towel and gently roll it up to absorb excess water.
- Dry only flat. Hanging a heavy, wet sequin dress can cause the mesh they are sewn onto to stretch irreversibly.
- Store the garment inside out, preferably in a separate cover or wrapped in tissue paper, to prevent sequins from snagging other clothes in your wardrobe.
Remember – sequin garments love gentleness. Avoid rough shoulder bags and sharp jewelry that could damage their structure. Treat them with care, and they will accompany you on every special occasion!
