Muslin
Care:
- Wash it at a low temperature (maximum 30°C) on a gentle cycle.
- Choose mild detergents – muslin doesn’t need strong chemicals to regain freshness.
- Avoid washing with items that have Velcro, sharp zippers, or hooks that could snag its loose, delicate weave.
Sunday Tip: If you want your muslin to be even fluffier, gently shake it out before hanging it to dry after washing.
Drying and fit:
- Say goodbye to the iron! The biggest advantage of muslin is its natural texture. Ironing makes the fabric lose its characteristic “waffle” effect and become flat.
- Dry it naturally, preferably flat or on a soft hanger.
- Avoid the tumble dryer – although muslin can survive it, high heat may cause the weave to shrink more than you’d like.
Remember – muslin is a fabric that lives with you. Its gentle wrinkling is not a flaw but proof of the naturalness and highest quality of cotton fibers. It’s the perfect companion for carefree Sunday mornings!
