Lyocell
Care:
- Wash it at a low temperature (maximum 30°C) using mild detergents.
- Choose programs for delicate fabrics and avoid overloading the washing machine drum – lyocell does not like excessive creasing during washing.
- Avoid strong spinning, which could damage the fiber structure.
- Turn the garment inside out to protect its smooth surface from mechanical damage.
Drying and ironing:
- Dry naturally, preferably outdoors in the shade.
- Avoid tumble drying – high temperatures can cause the fabric to lose its softness and shine.
- Lyocell is best ironed while still slightly damp, setting the iron to low or medium temperature (on the inside). Often, steam alone is enough to smooth out wrinkles.
Sunday Tip: Lyocell may feel a bit stiffer after washing – this is completely normal! It will regain its original silky softness and wonderful flexibility when ironed or simply in contact with the warmth of your skin.
